1. Preamble
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) govern all sales of products and services offered on the website www.levisfamilyadventure.com, operated by Levis Global LLC, a company registered in the United States.
Any order or reservation placed on the website implies full and complete acceptance of these GTS.
2. Products and services offered
2.1 Educational products
Inclusive educational workbooks: available in digital (PDF) and physical (paper) formats.
Physical workbooks are produced and shipped by a third-party supplier selected by Levis Global LLC.
Photographs and descriptions are provided for informational purposes only and are not contractually binding.
2.2 Real estate networking services
Levis Global LLC offers a service to assist with and present real estate properties in Costa Rica, including:
posting detailed listings online (photos, description, price);
managing visit reservations via the website;
providing logistical and narrative support to facilitate the discovery of properties.
Levis Global LLC is not a real estate agency and does not act as a seller or real estate agent. The company's role is limited to connecting buyers and sellers.
The final real estate transaction (signing, transfer of ownership, registration) is governed exclusively by Costa Rican law and takes place directly between the seller and the buyer.
3. Prices
The prices of products (notebooks) are displayed in USD, including all taxes.
The prices of services (booking visits, connection fees, any commissions) are also expressed in USD.
Prices can be automatically converted into the customer's local currency for information purposes, but invoicing is always in USD.
Levis Global LLC reserves the right to change its rates at any time. Products and services are billed at the rate in effect at the time the order is confirmed.
4. Ordering and booking
Products: The Customer selects the notebooks, adds them to their cart, and confirms their order. A confirmation email is sent.
Services: For houses, visits or guided tours are booked using the form provided for this purpose. The customer receives a summary email with the terms and conditions of the service.
Levis Global LLC reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order or reservation for legitimate reasons.
5. Payment
Payment for products and services is made online, by credit card or PayPal, via a secure platform.
For home-related services, amounts paid at the time of booking are non-refundable, except in the event of cancellation attributable to Levis Global LLC.
The Customer guarantees that they have the necessary authorizations to use the chosen payment method.
6. Delivery
6.1 Educational products
Digital version (PDF): instant delivery by download or email.
Physical version: shipped within an average of 5 to 10 business days. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination country.
6.2 Home-related services
The service consists of providing the Customer with access to a detailed presentation of the property and/or organizing a visit.
The service is deemed to have been performed as soon as the Customer is put in contact with the seller or the visit has taken place.
7. Right of withdrawal
Digital products (PDF): in accordance with applicable legislation, no right of withdrawal applies once the download has been completed.
Physical products: the Customer has a period of 14 days after receipt to exercise their right of withdrawal, provided that they return the product in its original condition.
Home-related services: no withdrawal is possible after confirmation and payment of the reservation.
8. Liability
For educational products: Levis Global LLC's liability is limited to the amount of the order.
For physical products shipped by a third-party supplier: Levis Global LLC's liability is limited to the correct transmission of the order and assistance in the event of a dispute with the service provider.
For home-related services:
Levis Global LLC does not guarantee the condition of the property or the legal validity of the final transaction.
The company acts solely as an intermediary for establishing contact and providing support.
Levis Global LLC's liability is strictly limited to the amount of the service fees charged.
9. Personal data
The data collected during orders and reservations is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. It is necessary for the management of orders, reservations, and customer relations.
10. Applicable law
Products (notebooks): The Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Mexico (United States).
Real estate services:
Digital services (bookings via the website) remain governed by the laws of New Mexico (United States).
Final real estate transactions are governed by Costa Rican law and must be concluded before the competent courts of San José, Costa Rica.
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable solution before taking any legal action.
