The beginning of an adventure 🌸
"I would like to share with you the story of my first adventure as a mother-to-be, and the immense joy I felt when my first baby arrived."
Just like marriage, the arrival of a baby was a long-cherished dream for our family. We spent a long time discussing education and what we would be willing to offer our child. Out of consideration, Julien waited until I was mentally ready to welcome our first baby.

So I made the decision to stop taking the pill in May 2019, letting nature take care of everything.
An unforgettable summer: wedding and surprise 💍🎉
Summer has arrived, and with it, the crazy idea of planning our wedding in just two months. On September 28, 2019, we said "I do" surrounded by those who matter most.

But the most incredible news came even before the wedding...
On September 9, 2019, I learned that I was pregnant with our first child 🍼!
We were amazed, moved, and excited by the idea of this double adventure to come.
The first months of pregnancy 💛
Despite some morning sickness, the first few months went well.
When the baby's sex was discovered, everything happened very quickly: "It's a boy!"
We were happy, even if the abrupt manner of the announcement left me pensive for a few days.

Little by little, as we chose a name and made our first purchases, we began to dream of our life as three.
When the world stops: pregnancy in the midst of Covid-19 🚫💉
Then, everything changed. The world froze with the arrival of Covid-19. My pregnancy, which I imagined would be filled with outings and baby showers, turned into a silent interlude.
Confined, unable to see family or friends, I clung to the essentials: protecting our little miracle.
Julien, my rock, was doing the shopping while I was preparing our cozy nest.

The hardest part was the fear of giving birth alone. But together, we were able to transform isolation into a cocoon of love.
Childbirth: a magical encounter 🌟
On May 21st, a slight loss of fluid signaled that the long-awaited moment was approaching. After a trip to the hospital and a stripping of my membranes, I endured nine hours of intense labor before Lois finally arrived.

I wasn't able to hold him right away, but Julien was able to do skin-to-skin with him.
These unique moments, although vague to me, will remain forever engraved in our hearts.
First steps as a threesome 💕
Our first days as a threesome were filled with sweetness, discoveries and (sometimes) restless nights.
I had some difficulties with breastfeeding, but with lots of patience, rest, and support, my maternal instinct took over.

A never-ending love story 🥰

Our wonderful Lois was born in May 2020, in the midst of a turbulent time, but with radiant health and a contagious zest for life.

Six months of breastfeeding followed, full of knowing glances, little hands clinging to my heart, and unforgettable memories.
Welcome to you, our little boy, our greatest happiness 🌿
